Meet Kaelyn + Trent
Kaelyn and Trent first crossed paths in 2023, when Kaelyn began working with Trent at Kayak Adventures Worldwide. What started as a professional connection quickly grew into a close friendship built on hard work, shared adventures, and a mutual love for Alaska’s wild places.
In 2024, they made their first trip to Granite Point. Standing on the shoreline, it didn’t take long to realize they were experiencing something special. That visit sparked a shared vision—to build something together and invite others to experience this remote, beautiful corner of Alaska the same way they had.
Kaelyn Schreiner
Kaelyn first arrived in Seward in 2023 to guide for Kayak Adventures Worldwide. As she explored the fjords and immersed herself in the region’s unique ecosystems, she quickly fell in love with the area and decided to put down roots. When she’s not managing Granite Point or working with Kayak Adventures, Kaelyn can be found trail running, foraging for Alaska’s wild edible plants, or diving into her latest creative project.
Trent Lafleur
Trent has called Seward home for the past 12 years, dedicating his time to promoting regenerative tourism in the area. As the owner of Kayak Adventures Worldwide for the last decade, he’s now bringing his passion for adventure to Granite Point. Trent is the proud husband of Hannah Lafleur and father of Nara Bair and Rosie Lou. Their family can often be found exploring local trails, hosting the Seward Farmers Market, or running the operations at Kayak Adventures.
