Getting to Granite Point
Granite Point is a remote property only accessible by boat or helicopter. Booking your trip to Granite Point is super easy!
- Seward Water Taxi (907-362-4101) costs $100/person round trip, and takes about 30 min from the Seward Marina to the property. If you choose to take the water taxi, it will pick you up at the South Public Boat ramp at the time you specify. Parking is directly adjacent to the dock for $10/day.
- Marathon Helicopters (907-224-3616) The flight takes approximately 10 minutes for up to 3 people and gear. If you choose to take the helicopter, departure is from the Seward airport. Marathon Helicopter’s office is the 3rd building on your left on Airport Road. Ample free parking is available there.
- Finally, if you own your own kayaks or boats, you may provide your own transportation. Granite Point is a 7 mile paddle from Fourth of July Beach. If you choose to motor your own boat to the property, there is great anchorage right in front of the property.
Please note, this is a remote setting. To reach your cabin, guests will ascend four steep staircases and traverse a short 30-yard trail. As such, travelers should be self-reliant, in good physical condition, and prepared for a bit of adventure.
Why this cabin?
The Full Property Buyout is ideal for groups seeking to unplug and reconnect in Alaska’s remote wilderness. It’s a one-of-a-kind setting for weddings, retreats, and unforgettable group celebrations.
Things to Do
Granite Point is an adventurer’s paradise. There is no shortage of things to explore during your stay here. We provide complimentary use of kayaks and paddle boards. We supply PFDs, paddles, spray skirts, and additional safety gear you may need.
From our beach you can explore tide pools and sea caves during the low tide. Additionally, the fishing from the shore is incredible. You can fish from the beach or our kayaks, and have a shot at catching King, Silver, or Pink Salmon, Halibut, or Rockfish.
We also maintain a hiking trail that takes you into the alpine above Resurrection Bay.

Leave No Trace Property
Granite Point is intimately immersed with its environment: we ask that you are conscious of Leave No Trace Principles while you are here.
Pack In, Pack Out: due to our remote location, Granite Point is unable to manage the trash of our guests, please take it with you when you leave on the water taxi.
Pets and Kids?
Granite Point is an idyllic place for families to make lasting memories, and we warmly welcome children and infants in our cabins. Please keep in mind that the property is remote, with rugged trails, steep staircases, cliffside areas, and other natural features that may be hazardous for curious little ones.
Pepper Creek Cabin offers the easiest access and is our top choice for families with young children or those who prefer to skip steep climbs.
PetsPets are welcome to join you on your Granite Point adventures. We simply ask that you clean up after them and keep a close eye on your pups around other guests and near the cliff edges.
A $20 per-pet fee applies to accommodate additional cleaning.
Cancelation Policy
Our cancellation policy for the Full Property is more restrictive than for individual cabins, as it can be challenging to rebook the entire property on short notice. Guests who cancel will receive a full refund up to 30 days prior to their reservation, and a 50% refund for cancellations made up to 14 days before arrival. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns!
